Shifu Lei is the head-instructor and owner of the academy, with over 35 years of experience in martial arts.

• Master in Northern Shaolin Gongfu

• Former Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor-MCMAP

• Certified teacher & coach in Sanfeng-Pai Taijiquan

• Graduate of the Taiji Instructor Course from China Wudang Gongfu Academy in Wudangshan, China

• Leader & owner of Utah's largest Taijiquan community - SLC Community Tai Chi

• Co-owner of the Jung Hing Lion Dance Group ​​

When Shifu Lei isn't teaching or working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 kids and dog, Kai Shin, as well as co-managing Asian Link Project.
