Welcome to our first online monthly newsletter

Hello students,

It’s been brought up before that many students outside of the Advanced/Kids/Morning Taiji class, including those who can’t be with our school anymore but remain as members of our community, miss out on messages from myself & Shīmǔ, as well as hearing words-of-wisdom often given out throughout those classes.

Our goal with these emailed newsletters is to address concerns, give updates & news, share upcoming events, and review housekeeping items. Please excuse us for any pep-talks, stories or history of our school you may have already heard in-class. If you wish to disregard these emails, at least please review important Housekeeping items in the tail-end of our emails.

Utah Food Drive all month & volunteer-work!

In spirit of the holidays, we'll be hosting volunteer work for community. Please standby as we're finalizing details of when and what kind of volunteer-work we'll be a part of.

This month we will also be accepting both food & non-food donations at the studio - just leave all items in the drop-off box in the lobby, and we'll take care of the rest. For quick reference, most needed items are:

  • Peanut Butter

  • Mac & Cheese

  • Canned Meats (tuna, chicken or beef)

  • Chili

  • Spaghetti O's/Ravioli

  • Canned Fruits

  • Other Boxed Meals

  • Herb Supplements & Energy Drinks

  • Vitamins & nutritional aids

  • Meal replacement shakes

  • Plates, utensils & kitchen tools

  • Personal hygiene products

  • And more!

Full details on what you can drop-off listed here:

HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS

  • Please be sure to take all belongings with you. Nothing frustrating like seeing that one water bottle sit in one place forever…

  • No drinks allowed in the lockers, so be sure to empty your water bottles beforehand.

  • Moving forward, Testing Fees will be charged on the day of your testing. Retakes of tests will result in additional testing fees. Please be sure you have funds in your account during that time.
